These things are Dynamite!

Yesterday I had a full day in that I had worked overnight Friday and then had to go out of town to my mom's place to get some glasses on order (yeah, bifocals; I'm getting that old), and then do some shopping afterwards.  Ended up at Loblaws for groceries and, as a result, we had some really nice President's Choice sirloin burgers for dinner last night.

Up front, I am going to say that I've always been a big fan of the President's Choice (PC) line-up of products and they are generally miles ahead of any 'in-house' offering that any other grocery chain has to offer.  This weekend proved no different.

I'm not going to rave about the sirloin burgers (which were indeed very damn good!), but rather the other item I purchased.  Tonight for dinner we were reduced to having 'just' spaghetti.  But, I kicked it up by adding these President's Choice Portobello Swiss meatballs, which proved to be just absolute dynamite in flavour and texture!  



The fact is, they cook in the oven in 6-8 mins (which we did) or micro for 1.5 minutes. Honestly, I wish I could create meatballs this good from scratch!  I think they were 5.99 for 30 meatballs (bigger than marbles, less than golf balls). Maybe a titch pricey, but dang, were these ever good!
